Moira has a Masters degree in the History of Art and Design and is a graduate of the Royal College of Art.
Her career embraced the design world, culminating in her appointment as a Director of The Design Council, a post she held for more than seven years.
Design is all encompassing. It has a distinctive shape or pattern and my background in it’s world has greatly influenced my pictures.
But to turn it on it’s head - Art is the tribute that Design plays to industry. Hence the next step?
I paint nature. Simplicity is the essence of my work in water colour.
